I wish I would've checked my e-mail earlier today! Sherry was here for dinner, I
could've asked her. My youngest son went home with her so I can ask when I go
pick him up. Evadeen lives on Vista too. All the boys live within walking
distance to her house. I'll try to send the info later this evening.

what it has been called for years but it really Vista Road as far as
i know named after the Church i spent many a day fishing down there
next time you talk to any of them ask them if they knew Jesse Rhodes
then tell them his son Billy then they would know who it was then .
Does Evadeen live on Haws Run if i can still remember she used to
live there at one time i used to talk to Curtis on a CB Radio for a
long time untill i moved away from Jackson County he had a real good
CB Radio outfit i enven forgot what he went by to i reacon that goes

TJ first got his drivers license, I thot we lived at the junk yard!!

Maybe we will find the answers some day. We just need to keep looking.
Wonder if the Christopher in Greenbrier is related to ours and we know his
wife was a Rebecca and would have married about the same time as the one in
Rockbridge. Greenbrier was created in 1778 from Montgomery and Botetourt
Counties. Then think about the area Kanawha was form in 1788 from
Greenbrier and Montgomery Counties. Jackson was form in 1831 from Kanawha,
Wood and Mason. Just questions no answers. Our Christopher "will" and no
wife is a "big" question, I think. Where was she? That is why I started
posting all these censuses. The more we find the more we can solve.

I know the story is that Christopher was married several times, do you know
the source for this information? Also, I do not have any other VA marriage
records except Rockbridge Co. but could he be in the Augusta or Botetourt
Co. records? What about other counties? I
had wonder too why his wife was not mention in the will.

Have a very big question -- Why doesn't Christopher say anything about a
wife if Rebecca was his second wife and still living. I understand from my
grandfather back in the 50's that Christopher was living alone. If we put
more of the puzzle together, we might find the answer.
