RHODES, John (Del).  1st Lieutenant Delaware Battalion of the Flying Camp, July to December, 1776; 1st Lieutenant Delaware Regiment, 4th December, 1776, wounded 12th May, 1777, where not stated; Captain Lieutenant, 1st March, 1779; Captain, 27th April, 1780; taken prisoner at Camden 16th August, 1780, and died 26th October, 1780.

RHODES, Joseph (N.C.).  Lieutenant 8th North Carolina, 28th November, 1776; Captain, 5th August, 1777; retired 1st June, 1778.

RHODES, Joseph (R.I.).  Surgeon's Mate to Brigade of Rhode Island State troops in 1776.

RHODES, Joseph Thomas (N.C.).  Captain 10th North Carolina, 1st August, 1777; transferred to 4th North Carolina, 1st June, 1778; wounded at Stono Ferry, 20th June, 1779, served to close of war; Brevet Major, 30th September, 1783.
