Will of JARRED RHODES.  Heirs: Wife, Martha.  Other heirs: William Rhodes ($100.00 is to be deducted from his part of the estates, it being the amount I paid for his expenses back to California); Sanford Rhodes; James Rhodes; Matilda Beckworth; Lucinda Perry; Amanda Perry; Lydia Jane Rhods; five grandchildren - children of my daughter Malinda: Martha, Edna, Andrew, Jefferson and Martha Smythes.  (Martha to get $100.00 out of their portion of the estate, and then the balance to be equally divided between the other four names.) Nancy King.  Dated May 4, 1853.
